Smith - John Mark Smith Sr., age 79, of Callahan, Florida passed away on October 21, 2023. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 10, 1944, to the late Willard A. Smith and Arbry Lee Smith.  Mark loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He never met a stranger and always made you feel welcomed. Mark was one of a kind and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Francis Sheffield.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Linda Smith; son, Mark Smith; grandsons, Johnathan (Brooke), Brandon (Candice); great grandchildren, Tanner, Riley, Candon, Satilla, Brady; brother, W.A. (Mary Ann) Smith; sister, Martha (Paul) Harris.

A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Higginbotham officiating.  Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
