Medders - Jessie Lee Godwin Medders, age 82, of Alma, Georgia, passed away on February 23, 2025. She was born on July 13, 1942, in Alma, Georgia. Jessie was the daughter of the late David Alexander Godwin and Jessie Mae Allen Stewart. She was a homemaker who raised and loved her 4 children with all her heart. Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie William Medders; children, James Taylor; granddaughter, Erin Hurst; great-granddaughter, Aubriella Morales; brothers, Ronnie Godwin, Charles Godwin, Phillip Godwin; Dale Godwin; sisters, Evelyn Harris, Betty Hughes, Shirley Medders, Wanda Anderson, Kathy Burkett.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Misty Medders, Jason Thompson, Franklin Godwin (Paula); grandchildren, Kristina Morales (Zach), Brooke Livingston (Amanda), Brandon Godwin, Amanda Godwin; great-grandchildren, Bailee, Damon, Ace, Galaxy, Leo, Kayla, Kadance, Chad; brother, Jerry Godwin; sister, Karen Story.
