Lee – Jaunell Lee, age 75, of Callahan, Florida passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Folkston, Georgia on January 11, 1950, to Ivan Taylor Hickox and Vannie Chesser Hickox. Jaunell was known for her vibrant personality and unmistakable sense of humor.  She was outgoing and quick-witted, always ready with a clever comeback that could light up a room. Jaunell's great sense of humor made her a joy to be around, and those fortunate enough to share time with her will remember her as someone who could make even the most ordinary moments unforgettable. She brought warmth and laughter into the lives of all who knew her. Jaunell had a deep love for her family that shaped everything she did. She cherished those closest to her above all else and found joy in their company. A woman of distinctive style and flair, Jaunell adored the color purple, her Tweety bird, and was rarely seen without the soft floral scent of White Diamonds perfume, a signature that matched her bold yet graceful spirit. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. Jaunell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Lee; daughter, Kimberly Reynolds; brothers, Raymond Hickox, W.C. Hickox, Hershell Hickox; sisters, Juanita Cason, Diane Drury; and granddaughter in law, Charity Anderson.

Jaunell leaves behind her loving children, Regina (Bryan) Gilley, Jessie (Terri) Lee, Allen (Bubba) Lee; sisters, Edna Hoskin, Evelyn Scott; grandchildren, James (Charity) Anderson , David (Gabby) Reynolds , Keira Lee, Ivy Jordan, Christopher Nolan; great grandchildren, Desmond Anderson, Camrin Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Harley Reynolds, Theo Reynolds, Kyliegh Nolan, Jaycee Nolan, Matteo Lee, Octavious Lee, J'amitri Jordan; step grandchildren, Howard Thompson, Steven Thompson; and many more extended family members.

A Celebration of Jaunell's Life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Bro. Terry O'Neal officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
