Goulart – Janice Earlene Goulart, age 73, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on April 12, 2023, with her loving family be her side.  She was born on April 3, 1950, in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Earl Wilford Steele and Janie Kate Anderson.  Janice was very spiritual; she loved the Lord and listening to gospel music.  She was also very artistic and liked to sew for her family and friends.  Janice was incredible proud and enjoyed being able to help families during her time working for The Salvation Army.  She started off working only part time and worked her way up the ladder to the position of office manager.  Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Steele and Janie Foskey.

Janice leaves behind her daughter, Jana Marie Sellers Maddox; son, Roland Brooks Sellers, III; sister, Mary Daum; brothers, Wiley E. Steele, Robert E. Steele, George A. Steele; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Janice's Life will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Carr officiating.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011. 904-879-1770.
