Jones – Janet Elaine Jones, age 63, of Blackshear, Georgia passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. She was born on May 22, 1962, in Pompano Beach, Florida to Oliver Ray Rose and Edna May Rose. Janet dedicated much of her life to caring for others, both people and animals. She worked as a veterinary technician, a career she deeply cherished, before retiring in 2000. Janet's life was one filled with love for her family, laughter with friends, and genuine care for every living thing she encountered. Her compassion, kindness, and devotion left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Janet will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her dedication to her family, and the countless lives she touched.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Allen Jones; daughter, Jennifer (J.C.) Achord; granddaughter, Aubreigh Achord, who brought immense joy to her life. Janet is also survived by her mother, Edna Rose; siblings, Patricia Wimberly, Michael Rose, Alice Belkowski; brother in laws, Steven Jones, Timothy Jones; and several beloved nephews and nieces, Steven Wimberly, Sarah Wimberly, Chris Wimberly, Danielle Gill, Stevie Cassidy, Sebastian Sloan, Nick Jones, Deborah Walker, and Jonathan Belkowski.
