Solomon – James "Terry" Terrance Solomon, age 73, of Hilliard, Florida passed away on October 22, 2022.  He was born on November 23, 1948, in Fernandina Beach, Florida to the late Alpha Solomon and Lucille Dubose Solomon.  Growing up, Terry worked on chicken farms with his father.  He has always enjoyed the outdoors.  By no means was Terry a mechanic but he could fix anything.  Terry was not only a faithful member but also one of the founding members of the Boulogne Holiness Church.  He loved to worship and serve the Lord.  Terry was a man of integrity.  He was a loving father who always provided for his family.  Terry loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Shirley Spurlock Solomon; brothers, Melvin (Linder) Solomon, Tommy Solomon, Raymond Solomon.

Terry leaves behind his wife, Elaine Solomon; son, Robert (Dana) Solomon; daughters, Terri Lynn (Gary) Tippins, Tina (Michael) Solomon; step-son, Michael (Robin) Gregory, Richard Gregory; step-daughter, Robin (Ray) Roebuck; grandchildren, Eric (Payton), Cari (Randy), Caitlyn (Freddie), Lindsey (Chance), Ashlyn (Andrew), Kensey (Hayden), Nick (Ashley), Tyler, Carson, Carrington, Stevie, Madison (James); great grandchildren, Penny, Addison, Rhett, Quinton, Wyatt, Conner; aunt, Ruth Shantz; several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Eric Tippins, Nicky Solomon, Carson Sams, Larry Gibson, Drew Blair, and Hayden Wilson.

A Celebration of Terry's Life will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Boulogne Holiness Church with Pastor Andrew Gillis officiating.  Interment will follow at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011, 904-879-1770.
