McGee – Bishop James Ervin McGee, age 92, of Callahan, FL passed away January 25, 2021. He was born on October 1, 1928 in Andrews, South Carolina to James Edward McGee and Francis Estelle Sauls.  In 1953, James moved to Florida and started a family business, "McGee & Son's Roofing."  In 1987, James retired and passed down the family business.   In September 2019, James retired from his life calling of being a Bishop at First Pentecostal Apostolic Church.  James loved spending time with his family and church family, and above all loved serving the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Mitchell Dunn, James McGee, Jr., Robert "Bobby" McGee, Sr.; daughter, Judy Taylor.

James is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Gladys McGee; daughters, Michele Dunn, Mary Sydnes; sons, Thomas McGee, Edward (Edith) McGee; adopted sons, Gary (Melissa) DiAngelo, Robert (Molly) McGee, Jr.; sisters, Nell Glisson, Libby Judson; a very special granddaughter and care giver, April (Bubba) Glisson as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other extended relatives.
