McDonough- James "Buddy" Lee McDonough, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2025. He was born on July 16, 1945, in Gadsden, Alabama to the late James and Audi McDonough. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In his spare time, James loved restoring hot rods and playing his harmonics to gospel music. He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Dottie McDonough and grandson, John Kilgore, Jr.

James is survived by his loving daughters, Cindy (John) Kilgore, Karen (Brian) Lacey; grandchildren, Bailey (Emma) Morrissey, Jacob Lane, Brook (Cliff) Geiger; great grandchildren, Olive and Bexlee.
