Holsombach - James Lafayette Holsombach, age 55, of Hilliard, Florida passed away unexpectedly February 1, 2024. He was born June 19, 1968, in New Port Richey, Florida. Although James had no children of his own, he was always the much-loved favorite uncle to a huge pack of nieces and nephews. For whom he was always inventing new and more dangerous ways of getting injured. James was always down for adventure, playing pranks and laughing. He was a talented and proud builder, a fisherman and farmhand. But James's true gift was jovially arguing with anyone willing to return fire. He was as tough as he was kind. James was the first to respond to anyone in need of help. A mentor and teacher to many tradesmen, who will carry on his knowledge and wisdom. He loved all animals, except a freaking string ray. James was a Dapper Dan man!

James is survived by his wife of 37 loooong years, Helen Holsombach; parents, Alice and Leon Anderson; sister, Angie (David) Taylor; brothers, Wyatt (Jessie) Anderson, Dennis (Cathy) Anderson and Kenny (Christie) Anderson.

A Visitation for James will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 4:00 -6:00 pm at Nassau Funeral Home in Callahan, FL. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the River House from 12:00 – 4:00 pm.
