Moore – James "Jim" Gordon Moore, age 86, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord, April 27, 2022. He was born on December 18, 1935, in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Gordon E. Moore and Maggie Lee Brooks Moore.  Jim proudly served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1962.  He obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering from Auburn University.  Jim retired from Simplex Industrial as the Plant Manager.  Jim and the love of his life, Barbara Love Moore, thoroughly enjoyed traveling.  One of their biggest dreams was to travel to Alaska and they were able to fulfill it.  He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Marcus Alan Moore.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Moore of Callahan, Florida; son, James V. (Judy) Moore of Panama City Beach, Florida; daughter, Elisa Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Michael Moore of Atlanta, Georgia.

A Graveside Service for Jim will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Alabama where military honors will be rendered.  Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida, 32011, 904-879-1770.
