Barber – James "Jimmy" Donald Barber, age 71, of Callahan, Florida passed away on September 16, 2022.  He was born on August 24, 1951, in Jacksonville, Florida to James Elias Barber and Lottie Belle Sikes Barber.  Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to Disney World, cookouts with his family and friends, and play time with Belle and Fletch.  More than anything he loved spending time with his family, especially his beautiful granddaughters that he loved to brag about.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, LaDonna Barber; brothers, Jerome Barber, Gerald Barber.

Jimmy leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, LaDonna Kaye Barber of Callahan, FL; daughter, Lisa Dennis of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Richard Barber of Bryceville, FL; sister, Georgia Ann Zetmeir of Hilliard, FL; grandchildren, Kalen Simpson, Kyndle Lager; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jimmy's Life will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Carter officiating.  Interment will follow at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011, 904-879-1770.
