Waters - Jack A. Waters, age 77, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on April 30, 2021 with his family at his bedside. He was born August 2, 1943 in Jesup, Georgia to Donald Roy and Lillie Annie Elliott Waters. Jack was the owner of Waters Paint & Body. He loved being his own businessman and he loved to fish as often as he could get away. Jack was so well known that going out for a meal was an event because he usually took the time to know the owner and most all of the employees. Jack had a way of making people feel like family and he will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jackie Lynn Waters; 5 brothers and sister.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Macomber Waters; children, Donna Nielsen Collins, John Waters, LeAnn Waters Cavin; sisters, Ann (Lloyd) Tomlinson, Mary (Royce) Dean; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11am at Homeland Cemetery with Pastor Buddy Wimberly officiating.  Internment will immediately follow.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 6-8pm at Lannie Road Baptist Church.
