Rhoden - Henry C. Rhoden, Sr., age 83, passed away May 25, 2024. He was born January 26, 1941, in Jacksonville, Florida to Frazier Rhoden and Lourine Higginbotham. At the age of 18, Henry married the love of his life, Frances. Shortly after, he joined the United States Army as an Automotive Mechanic. After his years of service came to an end, Henry and Frances proudly built a wonderful life together, full of love, laughter, and joy. He loved family gatherings and was the most generous man, with both his time and knowledge. Henry loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening and he took great pride in growing food for his family. Henry loved singing in the church choir, old western movies, dogs, and sharing stories about his baseball and Army days. He will be remembered by those who loved him as a man who would go above and beyond for his family. Henry held strong to his faith and found great comfort being surrounded and cared for by those he held dear to his heart. He is preceded in death by his loving spouse, Frances.

Henry is survived by his devoted son, David, as well as many other loved ones.
