Henry "Donnie"
Hall
Aug 2, 1959 — May 17, 2025
Hall – Henry "Donnie" Donald Hall, age 65, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on May 17, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Augusta, Georgia on August 2, 1959, to the late William H. Hall and Jewell Graham Hall. Donnie lived a life marked by passion, dedication, and deep love for his family and interests. A graduate of Paxon Senior High School, Donnie remained rooted in the Jacksonville community throughout his life. He was widely known for his unwavering enthusiasm for motorsports. A lifelong fan of Jax Raceway, Donnie didn't just cheer from the sidelines, he made his mark on the track as a 13-time race winner. Whether it was drag car racing, stock cars, dirt bikes, motorcycles, or go-carts, if it had wheels and an engine, Donnie was there with a wrench in hand and a spark in his eye. His mechanical talents were matched only by his joy in using them. Donnie found fulfillment in working with engines and machines of all kinds. His attention to detail and hands-on skill made him a trusted figure among fellow enthusiasts and friends alike. Beyond the roar of engines and the thrill of competition, Donnie found peace in fishing, a pastime that allowed him to slow down and enjoy the quiet moments life had to offer. At the heart of everything he did was his family. Those who knew him speak of a man who loved his family more than anything else. He was devoted to those closest to him and took exceptional care of his wife. In every sense of the word, Donnie embodied what many would call the ideal man; steadfast, generous with his time and affection, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Donnie often credited Wayne McMillian as his mentor, someone who helped shape not only his skills but also his values and approach to life. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who shared in his journey. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Holland Reynolds; grandson, Donald; best friend, William "Duby" McMillan.
Donnie leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Glenda Hall; children, Hozie "Peanut" (Kelly) Hutcheson, Sheila (Alan) Crawford; grandchildren, Sheena, Cody (Shelly) Beaty, Brittany "Doodle" (Josh) Rayburn, Travis (Elisha) King; great grandchildren, Tristan, Landen, Layden, Jax, Wylee, Blayton, Katelynn, Riley, Summer, RJ; 1 nephew; 2 nieces; cousins, Robert (Lisa) Stevenson, Tony Graham, Larry Stevenson; sister in laws & best friends, Peggy Kennedy, Debbie Harper, Theresa Baldwin; fur babies, Nugget and Chy.
