Cappiello – Helen Marie Cappiello, age 89, of Callahan, Florida passed away peacefully on January 31, 2024, with family by her side.  She was born on March 2, 1934, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Harold Edwin Padgett and Dorothy Lee Pickett Padgett.  Helen and the love of her life, John, wed on December 21, 1977, and were happily married for 37 years. Helen lived a simple life; she was a simple woman.  She enjoyed going to the beach with John and shopping with her sister, Betty. Helen and Betty thoroughly enjoyed their shopping trips to Walmart and Winn Dixie. Helen was fond of animals and loved her cats and dogs.  More than anything, Helen loved to spend time with her family who she loved dearly.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John James Cappiello; daughter, Linda Diane Harris.

Helen leaves behind her son, Steve Edwin Jones and spouse Jackie; sister, Betty Hines; grandson, Christopher Harris and spouse Melissa; great grandchildren, Nicholas Harris.
