Parnell - Harriet "Bunny" Parnell, passed away on January 15, 2025, at her home in Hilliard, Florida, with her loving family and friends by her side, leaving a void her family cannot fill. She was born in Leakesville, Mississippi in 1946 to Onrie Spears and Emma Smith. Harriet was a loyal and devoted member of First Baptist Church of St. George, Georgia for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Richard H. Parnell, Sr.

Harriet is survived by her children, James Robert Blount, Jr. and his wife, Irene Parnell Blount; Keith Allan Blount and his wife, Charlotte Nicole Blount; stepchildren, Deborah Parnell Bruno and her husband, Junior Bruno, and Richard H. Parnell, Jr.; sister, Carol Jean Sessions; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

A Celebration of Harriet's Life will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Finley officiating. Interment will at River Road Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
