Moore – Melva "Grace" Moore, age 89, of Callahan, FL went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2021.  She was born on July 15, 1932 in Ambrose, Georgia. Grace enjoyed cooking with love for others.  In her spare time, she enjoyed rocking her grands and great-grands and spending time with her girls. Grace was passionate about tending to her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma McLendon; husband, John Allen Moore; brothers, Junior McLendon and Carlis McLendon; sister, Florine Harper; grandson, Joshua Simms.

Grace leaves behind her daughters, Patty (Jack) Simms of Taylorsville, NC, Shelian (Del) Olsen of St. Augustine, FL, Jackie (Tony) Musselman of Callahan, FL, Debbie (Alan) Brown of Callahan, FL; grandchildren, Del (Rhonda) Olsen, Robbie Olsen, Timothy Simms, Matthew (Deidra) Simms, Amanda (Carl) Schumacher, Erin (Chris) Voss, TJ (Nichole) Copeland, Kaitlyn (Justin) Mercer, Lindsey (Cody) Drury, Erica (Ricky) Loring, Ashley Brown, Christopher Brown, 23 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Grace's Life will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Gray Gables with Pastor Cody Page officiating.  Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery.
