Carter – Gertrude "Gert" Virginia Carter, age 84, of Callahan, Florida passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. Gert is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Leafy Edwards; son, Allen Gene Anderson; husband, Clarence DeWitt Carter; and great granddaughter, Hannah McKelvy.

Gert is survived by her sons, Dennis (Cathy) L. Anderson, Jr., Kenneth (Christie) Anderson, Richard (Rosey) Carter, all of Callahan, FL; sisters, Annie Lovett, Alice (Leon) Anderson; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
