Holmes – Gary Wayne Holmes, age 79, of Callahan, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. He was born on February 28, 1945, to the late Cary and Marie Holmes. Gary enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he did so until his illness prevented it. He will be missed greatly by all who have the honor of knowing him.

Gary is survived by his wife, Velice Holmes; son, Terry (Bonnie) Holmes; brother, Johnny "Corky" Holmes; sisters, Phyllis Petty, Carolyn "Lynn" Close; granddaughter, Emily Holmes; and several extended family members.
