Jones – Garry A. Jones, age 63, of Darien, Georgia passed away on July 26, 2023.  He was born on October 27, 1959, in Fernandina Beach, Florida to Augustus W. Jones and Mildred E. Braddock Jones. Garry was a hardworking man who worked several years as a commercial shrimper. He had a passion for being on a boat on the water.  Garry was one of a kind.  He would keep you on your toes and in stitches with his humor. Some might say that Garry missed his calling in life; he should have been a cowboy.  He is preceded in death by his father, Augustus W. Jones; sister, Karen Jones.

Garry leaves behind his mother, Mildred "Jean" Braddock Jones; son, David (Shannon) Jones; sister, Sherry Jones; grandchildren, Wyatt Jones, Emma Jones; aunt, Linda Brazell; cousin, Rita Braddock Tanner; many nephews and nieces.

A Graveside Service for Garry will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Haddock Cemetery with Pastor David Jones officiating.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Community Hospice and Palliative Care 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
