Durbec- Frank Steve Durbec, age 83, Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, at Lakeside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on June 6, 1942, to the late James Durbec and Francis Smith Durbec. Following school, Frank enjoyed a long and successful career in construction, where he took great pride in working with his hands.

Outside of work, Frank cherished time spent with his family, especially at the beach. The peacefulness of the sun and rolling waves brought him great joy, and some of his happiest moments were those shared by the shore with the people he loved most.  Frank was treasured by many and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jimmy, Jack and Freddie Durbec.

Frank is survived by his beloved daughter, Laura Durbec of Tennessee; grandchildren, Kelsey Nicole Durbec and Bradley Leon Durbec; sister, Audrey Durbec of Jacksonville, FL; along with several extended family members and friends.
