Lilly – Emerson "Gary" Lilly, age 69, of Callahan, Florida entered into eternal rest on May 21, 2022. He was born in Oceana, West Virginia on June 8, 1952.  After the death of his father Cecil Lilly, he moved to Florida with his mother Lucy (Wayne) Eller and siblings.  Gary grew up in historic Springfield and spent the majority of his life in Jacksonville, Florida before retiring to Callahan, Florida. He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Lilly; mother, Lucy Eller.

Gary leaves behind his children, Shannon (John) Green of Plant City, Florida, Adam Lilly of Jesup, Georgia, Stephanie Lilly of Kentucky, Jessica (David) Nicks of Wyoming; grandchildren, Mason Green, Levi Green, Raina Lilly, Daegan Lily, Jordon Lilly, Zoe Lilly, Brayson Nicks; siblings, Mary Marr, Rhetta Phillips, Roger Lilly of Jacksonville, Florida, Richard Lilly of West Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Gary will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery where military honors will be rendered.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011, 904-879-1770.
