Gordon – Elsie Mae Hale Gordon, age 96, of Callahan, FL passed away on July 10, 2021.  She was born on May 7, 1925 in Scotland Neck, NC to Paul and Pearlie Hale.  Elsie enjoyed crocheting and bus tours.  She loved gardening and always having fresh vegetables.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thurman V. Gordon, granddaughter, Patricia Anderson, great granddaughter, Ashley Edmonds, sons-in-law, Joe Cook and Mike Frame.

Moore, Jr. of Callahan, Hunter (Brie-Ann) Kielman of Callahan, Alyssa Absher of Callahan, Rylee Absher of Callahan, FL, Mark Absher, Jr. of Callahan, FL, James Gordon of Callahan, FL, Navayda Gordon of Callahan, Fl, Eric Strine, Jr. of Callahan, FL, Luna Moore of Callahan, FL; many great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Elsie's life will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor James Wilsey officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
