Erwin – Elizabeth "Annette" Erwin, age 59, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on February 21, 2022. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on February 7, 1963 to Henry Calvin Knowles, Sr. and Lelia Edwina Nettles Knowles.  Annette was a member of New Beginnings Ministries Church. For many years, she worked with her late husband, Joseph Thomas, III for his courier service delivering newspapers. In Annette's free time, she enjoyed carpentry, collecting trinkets, camping, cleaning, and taking cruises to various places.  Most of all, Annette loved spending time with her family.  She was the most selfless person; always putting her family first.  Annette was also a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  Annette is preceded in death by her father, Henry Calvin Knowles, Sr.; husband, Joseph Thomas Erwin, III.

Annette leaves behind her mother, Leila Knowles; loving sons, Neal (Lisa) Erwin, Jeramie (Michele) Erwin, Joseph (Destinee) Erwin, V, Scott (Brooke) Erwin; brother, Henry C. Knowles, Jr.; sister, Sherry Simmons; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; one of many lifelong friends, Penny Courtney.

A Celebration of Annette's Life will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery.
