Obituary

Sturdivant – Earl W. Sturdivant, age 84, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. He was born on December 25, 1937, in Nashville, Georgia to the late George W. Sturdivant and Hazel Inez Lindsey Sturdivant. Earl and the love of his life, Norbra Gail Williams Sturdivant wed on June 28, 1958, and were happily married for 62 years. Together they had two children, Keith Sturdivant and Sharon Sturdivant.  Earl proudly served in the United States Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1964.  He then went on to pursuing a career at Anhesuer-Busch in the maintenance department and retired after 37 years of service.  Earl was an outgoing, hard-working, humble man who loved giving to others and making people laugh. When he wasn't working, Earl enjoyed wood working and fishing but more than anything he loved spending time with his family who he loved dearly.  His family was his world and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for them.

Earl is survived by his precious wife, Norbra Sturdivant; son, Keith Sturdivant; daughter, Sharon Sturdivant; granddaughter, Kailyn Sturdivant.

A Celebration of Earl's Life will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hilliard, Florida with Brother Danny Mallard and Brother Hurbert Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery.
