McDonough – Dottie Jean McDonough, age 78, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord September 26, 2024. She was born on July 18, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Hubert and Doris Dobbs. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time, Dottie loved time with her friends and playing and listening to gospel music. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, John Kilgore, Jr.

Dottie is survived by her loving husband, James "Buddy" McDonough; daughters, Cindy (John) Kilgore, Karen (Brian) Lacey; grandchildren, Bailey (Emma) Morrissey, Jacob Lane, Brooke (Cliff) Geiger; great grandchildren, Olive and Bexlee.

A Graveside Service for Dottie will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Jones Cemetery with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating.
