Hurst – Donna Mae Hurst, age 71, of Yulee, Florida passed away on October 4, 2022.  She was born on June 29, 1951, in Folkston, Georgia to the late George Russell Bryant and Willie Mae Byrd Bryant.  Donna retired from Merrill Lynch.  She enjoyed attending her high school reunions, watching cooking shows, and shopping.  More than anything she loved her "cousin lunches" and spending time with her family which she adored.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Hurst; daughter, Michelle Renee Davis; sister, Karen Susan Bryant.

Donna is survived by children, Dawn Marie Nettles (Arthur), Gerald Dennis Fischer, Jr. (Samantha); grandchildren, Milla Nicole Nettles, Evan Russell Nettles, Michael Tracy Lemons, James Dennis Fischer; brother, George Russell Bryant, Jr.; sister, Pamela Jean Russell (Doug).

A Celebration of Donna's Life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011, 904-879-1770.
