On May 7, 2020 Donna Burney who was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend to many passed away at the age of 77. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Donald and Sara Bender.  Donna is predeceased her parents, her loving husband, John P. Burney, infant son Scotty and loving sister, Betty Crabb.

Donna is survived by her son, John Michael Burney (Stacie);  granddaughters, Danielle Smith (Daniel), Jenna Norman (Dylan and 7 great-grandchildren; Landon, Keagan, Autumn, Stella, Sophia, Bristol, Charleston); sister, Gigi Holcombe; brother, Leonard Bender (Kathy); many nieces, nephews, cousins, wonderful neighbors and her dog Manny.

Donna loved watching birds, playing jokes, spending time with her family, and taking day trips. She will be missed every day. Our family would like to thank the Hospice team that helped Donna during her illness.  Everyone was such a blessing.  The family will have a celebration of Donna's life at a later date.
