Edwards – Dewey J. Edwards, age 83, of Callahan, FL, passed away on August 26, 2020. He was born on October 13, 1936 in Tabor City, North Carolina to the late Henry Edwards and Lula Hillburn. Dewey enjoyed his longtime career as a boilermaker welder and was a member of the Boilermakers Union #13. Most of all, Dewey loved spending time with his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Dewey is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Linda Edwards; his daughters, Melissa Edwards and Amanda Martin; his grandchildren, Mekie & Liam Edwards, Joseph & Laurie Langner, Johnny Revels, Jr., Kenneth Betts, Kyle Martin, Mary Francis, and Aubree & Ashton Gibson; his 13 great-grandchildren; his special nephew, David Edwards; and friend, Janet Dyal Davis.

A Celebration of Dewey's Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home in Callahan, FL.
