Demetria "Dee" Jean Leonard was born in Circleville, Ohio on July 21,1965.

With unmatched strength, fierce love and a heart that never stopped giving, Demetria "Dee" Jean Leonard left this world on June 3, 2025, at 11:56 a.m. surrounded by an abundance of love after a courageous battle that she fought on her own terms.

Dee found joy in the simple, beautiful things- baking, gardening, caring for others and creating a home that was always full of warmth, sass and a love that could outshine the sun. She was the best kind of mother and an even greater grandmother- devoted and tough, loving beyond measure and completely irreplaceable.

Dee is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Donnie.

Dee leaves behind her daughters, Heather (Matt), Amber (Chris); bonus son, Cory; sister, Sandy (Marty); brother, Mike (Michelle); grandchildren, Isabella, Mason, Ryder, Cheyenne; bonus grandchildren, Mya, Hailey, Corey, Paige, Josh, Mason, Abby, and Caleb; bonus great granddaughter, Azzy; fur baby, Bruno, 5 grand dogs; and so many other family, friends and animals who loved her dearly.

Legacy is not leaving something for people; it's leaving something in people. And Dee left behind a legacy of love, strength and unforgettable memories. Those lucky enough to know her will carry her fire in their hearts forever.

A Celebration of Dee's Life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Bro. James Conner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
