Milligan – Deloris Marleen Milligan, age 85, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2020. She was born on July 12, 1935 in Bristol, Georgia to the late Edward and Lizzie Drury Arnette. Marleen moved to Callahan, Florida from Woodbine, Georgia in 1961.  Marleen was a member of Callahan First Baptist Church. She loved and enjoyed her Sunday School Class. Marleen enjoyed cooking, gardening and collecting fine china and glassware. Marleen and Rufus were happily married for over 62 years.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of her heart.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rufus Garrett Milligan and granddaughter, Melanie Milligan Watkins.

Marleen is survived by her children; Debbie Lynn (John) of Gainesville, FL, Ronald Milligan (Jeanne) of Hilliard, FL, Timothy Milligan (Donna) of Callahan, FL; sisters: Peggy McLain (Elton) and Barbara Sidwell (Carlton-deceased).

Marleen is survived by seven grandchildren; Lorrie Bell (Wayne), Sherri Milligan (Jeffrey), Jodi Nuszkowski (John), Staci Shorten (Kenny), Amy Bradbury (Mike), John (Trey) Lynn (Ann Marie), and Melissa Lamperelli.

Marleen is also survived by twenty beautiful great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A private service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Hyatt officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery & Mausoleum in Vidalia, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Callahan – Missionary Fund.
