Delmar Eugene "Gene" Lindsey, 62, of Callahan passed away August 16, 2019.

Gene was born to Steve and Sula Lindsey in Ocila, Georgia on December 12, 1956. He graduated from West Nassau High School in 1975 and enjoyed working outdoors with his many plants. He also loved to cook and collect various memorabilia.

He is survived by his Mother; Sula Lindsey, Sisters; Louise "Lou Lou "Lindsey and Nancy (Dennis) Crews. Brother; Lemar ( Kim) Lindsey. He is preceded in death by his father; Steve Lindsey and sister; Brenda Keen.

The family will receive friends on Monday August 19 ^, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Nassau Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 20, 2019 starting at 11:00 am in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Hickox officiating. Interment will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Laverne Harper, Bubba Keen, Randy Crews, Ian Scott, John Lewis, Nathan Rodgers and Steve Lindsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Rodgers and Sidney Beck.
