Griffis - Deborah "Debbie" Self Griffis was born October 22, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia and passed away August 17, 2023 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Debbie grew up in Georgia with her grandparents riding her horse, flying with her grandfather, and enjoying living in the country. She moved to Callahan, Florida after the death of her grandparents to live with her aunt and uncle. She found her passion working with her aunt in the family floral business and grew into a talent floral designer. Throughout her life, Debbie worked as a designer creating beautiful masterpieces. She also loved baking cakes, sewing, singing karaoke, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren and grand dogs.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Cornelia Self; her mother, Bonnie Jo Harden.

Debbie is survived by her two daughters, Casey (Mark)Kerlin, Daphne (Andy) Moeller; brother, Brian (Else) Harden; grandchildren, Sutton Kerlin, Aspen, Andie-Kate, George, August Moeller and Brianna Harden. Also, Shellie, Gage and Alexis Kropff.

A Celebration of Debbie's Life will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating.  Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
