Edwards – David Lee Edwards, Sr., age 56, of Hilliard, FL, passed away on September 24, 2020.  He was born in Dade City, Florida on January 24, 1964, to the late Daniel L. Edwards, Jr. and Frances Love Parker.  David liked his career as a block mason in construction until his retirement in 1997.  David enjoyed racing and football, and was an avid Florida State Seminoles and Philly Eagles fan.  More than anything, he loved spending time with his family, and was affectionately called "Papa" by his grandkids.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be dearly missed.

David is preceded in death by his parents; his son, David Lee Edwards, Jr.; his brother, Daniel L. Edwards III; and his brother-in-law, Charles Johnson.

David is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Angela Edwards; his daughters, Amber (Keith) Sweat of Hilliard, FL, Tiffany (Lucas) Williams of Oviedo, FL, Jennifer (Jason) Love of Callahan, FL, Sandy (Jeremy) Ingram of Canton, GA, and Jessica (David) Spurlock of Jacksonville, FL; his son, Dylan (Shelby) Edwards of Jacksonville, FL; his brothers, Dennis (Sandy) Edwards of New Port Richey, FL, Toby Edwards of Jacksonville, FL, Jerry Edwards of MS, and Jeff (Sherry) Edwards of Lake City, FL; his sisters, Gwen (Jerry) Robinson of Blackshear, GA, Sharon Johnson of Wellborn, FL, Debbie (Eddie) Edwards of Lake City, FL, and Diane (Eddie) Carter of Hilliard, FL; his 18 grandchildren; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
