Boucher - David "Bubba" Boucher, age 50, of Hilliard, Florida passed away on May 29, 2023. He was born on July 25, 1972, in Jacksonville, Florida to David Gordon Boucher and Laura Boucher Lovell. David and Jamie met under a unique serendipity.  David and Jamie's paths crossed one day when David needed the tires changed on his truck.  Although it was a brief and pleasant encounter, neither one knew what the future had in store for them. With the help of a mutual friend, David had the honor of changing Jamie's last name and they wed on August 18, 2018. David started his career with JEA at an entry level position. Through hard work and determination, he achieved the position of Construction and Maintenance Crew Leader. He was a dedicated employee for 32 years. David was mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on vehicles in his shop. Odds are you could always catch him in his shop "fixing" something. David will always be remembered by his motto of "Need Something, Call Me" because of how reliable and dependable he was to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Uncle D; Peanut; brothers, Robbie Boucher, Randy Hodges.

David leaves behind his loving wife, Jamie Boucher; father, David Boucher; mother, Laura (Jack) Lovell; children, Samantha Boucher (Stephen Brandt), Matthew Boucher (Joyce Chandler), Joseph Nickell (Madison Griffin), Ashten Dyer, Chase Dyer; sister; Jessica (Don) Stith; brother, James (Saira) Boucher; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Madilyn, Waylon, Freyja, Junior, Oakleigh; many nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of David's Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Mike Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
