Bensel - Darby "Denise" Henderson Bensel, age 53, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on September 17, 2021. She was born on June 8, 1968 in Jacksonville, FL.  Darby was raised all her life in Jacksonville and was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. Her passion in life was being a loving mother, grandmother, and person to everyone around her. Outside of spending time with her family, Darby's main hobby was going to the beach as much as she could. The beach was her place to be away from everything and nothing would make her more excited than spotting dolphins swimming in the distance. Darby will be missed by everyone who knew her, but she is now with our Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her brother, Duane Henderson in 2001; her first born son Chad Henderson in 2006.

Darby is survived by her parents, David and Jensine Henderson; brother, Darren Henderson; sons, Jeremy Bensel, Joshua Bensel; grandchildren, Rhys Bensel, Riley Bensel.

A Memorial Service for Darby will be on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating.
