Paul - Dan Ray Paul, age 87, of Hilliard, Florida, passed away Saturday morning, June 6, 2026, and went home to be with the Lord. He was born in Clinton (Sampson County), North Carolina, on April 10, 1939, to the late Wilson Paul and Mary Lee Allen both of North Carolina. Dan proudly served our country in the United States Army. His contributions included fighting in the Vietnam war as a Sergeant with a rank of E5 and was later honored as a Purple Heart recipient. Dan is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 37 years, Mary Jane Carroll Paul; and beloved son, Michael "Beef" Ray Paul.

Dan is survived by his daughters, Nancy Mullaley (Carlos Negron), Karen (Paul) Hudson; grandsons, Patrick (Kayla) Mullaley, Jr., Paul (Amber) Hudson, III; great granddaughter, Myra Jane Mullaley; great grandson, Linden Allen Mullaley; and several cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Dan's Life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church, 1058 Wheeler Street, St. George, GA, with Pastor Forrest Elledge officiating. Interment will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery where military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.
