Curtis Victor Knowles, 54, of Hortense GA. went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on November 21, 2019.

He was born on February 5, 1965 in Jacksonville FL to Theodore and Eloise Knowles. Curtis was a truck driver by trade but his first love was family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to spend time at the hunting camp or cooking out. His favorite hobby was swimming with his grandkids! He loved being Papa above all. He loved his wife with all he had and did everything he could to make sure she was taken care of, even to the end. He was affectionately referred to as a "Moma's Boy". Curtis loved BIG! He had a heart of gold that will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Left to treasure his memories are, the love of his life; Patricia "Trissy" Knowles, parents; Ted and Eloise Knowles, sister; Valerie Knowles, children; Curtis V. (Sam) Knowles II, Lindsey (Matt) Desiderio, Felicia Johns, Georgeanna (Jacob) Briley and Scarlett (Devon) Addis, grandchildren; Cheyenne, Paisley, Hunter, Holden, Felicity, Xana, Bell, Huey, Triston and Tara, numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was welcomed home by his son; Jerel Reed, brother; Lucas Knowles and grandbabies; Forest and Willow.

The family will receive friends on Saturday November 23, 2019 in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel from 12-1:00 PM with service beginning at 1:00.
