Higginbotham – Christine L. Higginbotham, age 92, of Callahan, Florida passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024, at the Life Care Center of Hilliard. She was born in Winokur, Georgia on November 12, 1931, to the late Willis Wingard and Joyce Crews Wingard.  Christine was a homemaker and took pride in taking care of her family.  In her earlier years, she enjoyed canning vegetables and making jelly from various fruits. Christine was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother that will be dearly missed.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delma W. Higginbotham; son, Rodney W. Higginbotham; brother; Delmus Wingard.

Christine is survived by her daughters, Janice (Neal) Ierien, Charlotte (Richard) Kardatzke; brothers, Jack Wingard, Junior (Kay) Wingard; granddaughter, Sophia Kardatzke; nephew, Jeff Wingard along with other nephews and nieces.
