McLemore – Charles "Pap" Lee McLemore, age 81, of Hilliard, Florida went home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2022.  He was born on April 29, 1941, in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Eddie Barney McLemore and Rachel Maxie May McLemore.  Charles and the love of his life, Evelyn wed on Good Friday, April 15, 1960, and it truly was a "Good Friday."  He worked as a Press Operator for Rex Packaging and Malnove for over 45 years.  Charles was a hardworking man, whether it be on his daily job or in his yard and pond, he took pride in his work.  When he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing, listening to Elvis and Johnny Cash, aggravating his family, and playing Skip Bo.  Charles was very competitive and did not handle losing very well.  More than anything he loved spending time with his family.  A special memory that his grandchildren will treasure is "Pap" singing to them. Charles was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed dearly.

Charles leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Hogan McLemore; children, Edward (Lisa) McLemore, Winifred McLemore, Michael (Shannon) McLemore, Cameron McLemore; grandchildren, Brad Fordham, Kyle McLemore, Peyton McLemore, Keith McLemore; great-grandchildren, Weston McLemore, Embry McLemore.
