Carney - Casey Jay Carney, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2023. He was born August 12, 1982, in Madison, Wisconsin. Casey spent most of his years in Callahan, Florida. He was a graduate of West Nassau High School. Casey was a kind-hearted soul, friend to all, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Casey was a tugboat captain and a licensed crane operator. He thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of marine work.

Casey is survived by his mother, Patricia (Joseph) Holden; father, Casey (Linda) Carney; children, Baileigh Carney, Emily Carney, Angelina Carney, Lucas Phillips, Mallory Douglass, Caselynn Carney, Vada Carney; fiancée, Deanna Hagan; sister, Alexis Bruno (Davie); brothers, Mark (Sheri) Schmidt, Kevin (Serena) Braaksma, Nathan Braaksma; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces.
