Higginbotham – Carrie Ann Higginbotham, age 37, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2020. She was born on September 21, 1982 in Jacksonville, Florida to Thomas William Higginbotham and Debra Davis Higginbotham.  Carrie was a Nassau County native, and she graduated West Nassau High School in 2001.  She then went on to earn her Bachelor's degree before returning home to WNHS, where she spent her entire career helping students succeed in mathematics.  She was a member of Exchange Church in Yulee, Florida and started an in-home Bible study group.  During her downtime, she enjoyed playing the clarinet and loved spending time outdoors fishing and camping.  Carrie was a big part of the community and touched many lives with her kindness.  She will be dearly missed by all.  Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior.

Carrie is survived by her mother, Debra Higginbotham of Callahan, FL; sister, Ashley L. (Bryce) Fowler of Bryceville, FL; nephew, Cameron; and niece, Brylynn.

A Celebration of Carrie's life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00a.m. at Callahan First Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends Friday, July 10, 2020 from 5:00-7:00p.m at Nassau Funeral Home.
