Keegan – Carolyn Keegan, age 77, of Callahan, Florida passed away on December 11, 2023, at the Community Hospice Warner Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Troy Rodgers and Ruby Weldon Rodgers on August 21, 1946.  Carolyn has been a resident of Callahan, Florida for the past 19 years and loved living in a small town. She was an easy-going, happy-go-lucky lady with a blessed life.  Carolyn enjoyed being outdoors planting pretty flowers in her flower beds, caring for her plants and fishing.  She also enjoyed going out to eat.  One of her favorite things to get was munchkin donuts.  Carolyn adored her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and loved her family with everything she had.  Carolyn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Rodgers; sister, Helen Rodgers.

Carolyn leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph Keegan; children, Susan (Henry) Pacetti, Joey (Bobbie Jo) Keegan, Tina Keegan; brother, Harold Rodgers; grandchildren, Mindy Pacetti, Ashley (Richard) Williams, Angela (Bobby) Chesser, Katelyn (DeWayne) Surrency, Taylor (Alan) Murray, Joseph (Rachael) Keegan, Emily Keegan, Wyatt Keegan, Michael Keegan, Levar Ellis, MyKaela Ellis; great-grandchildren, Brianna Walsky, Devin Walsky, Kaiden Williams, Hayley Chesser, Korbin Chesser, Carter Chesser, Henry Dingler, Jaxson Surrency, Tyler Keegan, Chloe Murray, Payton Murray, Rhyland Ellis.

A Celebration of Carolyn's Life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Mike Pruitte officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
