Workman – Brian Scott Workman, Sr. age 35, of Callahan, Florida passed away on December 13, 2023.  Brian was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 10, 1988, to his loving parents, Todd Wainwright and Malena Workman.  He was raised in Callahan, FL, in Kingsland, GA for his early teenage years and in Tampa for his senior year of high school.  He graduated from Falkenburg Academy and started his longtime career in the construction industry.  Brian was proud to earn his Welder's certificate and enjoyed working for Hal Jones Construction, Jims Concrete of Brevard, Unions of Carpenters, along with several independent contracts.  Brian was most passionate about fishing.  He loved being on or near the water and enjoyed fresh and saltwater fishing.  Brian also enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.  He lived his best life these last few months, while attending Teen Challenge Jacksonville Men's Center.  Brian was growing in his faith and also pursuing a better path for his life. Brian never met a stranger, had a heart of gold and was always willing to help those in need.  He was greatly loved and will be forever missed by all who knew him.  Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas Wainwright; and nephew, Kaiden Wainwright.

Brian is survived by his parents, Todd (Tracy Williamson) Wainwright and Malena (David Hickox) Workman; son, Brian Scott Workman, Jr.; brother, Bryce (Katelyn) Wainwright; sisters, Brandy (Jesse) Wolfe and Abigail Wainwright; Nanny and Papa, Janice (Scotty) Workman; great grandma, Betty Wasdin; nieces and nephews, Adalayna, JesseJames, and Koralynn Wolfe, Keaton, Korbin, and Brynleigh Wainwright; special niece, Bella Workman; aunt and uncle, Scotty and Kimmy Workman; along with numerous extended family members, friends, and dear loved ones.

A Celebration of Brian's Life will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 11:00 am at Nassau Funeral Home with Reverend Lowell Ott officiating.
