Maddox – Bobby Earl Maddox, age 85, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on May 18, 2022. He was born on August 9, 1936, in Vidalia, Georgia to Dewey Maddox and Clyde Kamer Maddox.  Bobby worked in Tractor sales for many, many years, the latest working for Massey Ferguson as a supervisor.  When he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing and gardening.  He also loved animals and listening to gospel and country music.  Bobby was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Betty Grimes, Nettie Gee; brothers, Willard Maddox, Dewey "Pee Wee" Maddox; step-daughter, Terri Canady.

Bobby leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Shirley Dyal Maddox; son, Rocky (Suwanna) Maddox; daughter, Patsy (Hugh) Rollins; step-children, Sandra (Bryon) Mayhall, Stephen (Kim) Smith; grandchildren, Ivey Smith, Dustin Mayhall, Samuel "Bo" Mayhall, Jacob Canady, Heather Lynn, Jeremy Pittman, Patrick Pittman, Sofia Maddox, Taylor Maddox; numerous great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Virginia Griffis.

Pallbearers will be Michael Grimes, Pacer Joyner, Dustin Mayhall, and Nick Solomon.

A Celebration of Bobby's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Live Oak Baptist Church with Pastor James Conner officiating.  Interment will follow at Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
