Annie L.
Bulford
Oct 24, 1937 — Jan 21, 2026
Bulford - Annie L. Bulford, age 88, was born on October 24, 1937, in Miami, Florida, to Shelby Lasseter and Pearl Shealy Lasseter. Raised in a small home with her large family, Ann met her high school sweetheart Bill Bulford at the age of 14. They married two years later. She left school to work and retired as a school cafeteria cook who loved seeing the children daily. Bill and Ann built a life rooted in faith in Christ and raised their family together. Throughout her life Ann's trust in Jesus remained steadfast, her joyful smile shining whenever she spoke of Him.
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Ann closed her earthly eyes for the last time and opened them to her Savior's welcoming face. We rejoice in her homegoing and in being made whole in Christ.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Guy Bulford, Jr.; son, William Guy Bulford, III; brothers, Donald Lasseter, Stephen Lasseter, Thomas Lasseter; and sister, Wanda "Lasseter" Butler.
Ann leaves by her children, Bobbie Bulford Nelson, Laurie Bulford Schlegel (Dave), Mark Bulford (Kasey); brother, Gregg Lasseter (Betty); daughter-in- law, Gina Hartin Bulford; grandchildren, Kimberly Nelson Osborne (Eric), L.B. Nelson (Renee), Sarah Bulford Tapley (Josh), Rachel Bulford Muchmore, Christina Bulford, Andria Schlegel Roberts (Brian), Bonnie Schlegel Veliz, Adele Bulford, Liam Bulford, Jack Bulford; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and large number of extended family members.
The family is deeply grateful for the devoted caregiving from Becky Nettles and Kathy Munster.
The tribute above was prepared by Ann's loving family.
