Alton Lee
Conner
Feb 21, 1947 — Oct 1, 2020
Conner – Alton Lee Conner, age 73, of Nassau County, went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2020. He was born on February 21, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Alfred Lee and Emily Conner. Shortly after graduating high school, Alton enlisted into the United States Marnie Corp to serve and protect his country. He took great pride in his military service and had an unbreakable passion towards America. One of the greatest gifts this country gave back to Alton was meeting and marrying the love of his life, Brenda. They married on December 23, 1968 and enjoyed 51 wonderful years together raising their family. Through his career in marine construction, Alton and Brenda were able to travel all over the world. Before Alton passed away, he was able to mail in his vote for the 2020 presidential election. So, in honor of Alton, he would urge every registered voter to exercise their right to vote and Keep America Great. Because of men like Alton, we all have the freedom to vote.
Alton is preceded in death by his parents; son, Alan Lee Conner; granddaughter, Kayla Edwards; and his brothers and sisters.
Alton is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Conner; daughters, Angie Lee (Chuck) Edwards and Autumn Lee (Brad) Dover; grandchildren, Conner Edwards, Baylee (Brenton) Franklin, Calee Edwards, Emilee Dover, and Hallee Dover; his best friend Daniel Lawson; his nephew Ronald Crawford; and many loved ones that know him as "Pops" and Uncle Alton.
